prophecy: the stories we tell ourselves (2022)
I made this film in my junor year of college, shortly after returning from a hiatus due to the pandemic. In the film, I reflect on my relationship to my mother, a fellow artist that "failed" as a dancer, to examine my own relationships to art and the fear of failure.
It was screened at the Emerson Film Festival 2022 and the Independent Film Festival Boston Student Showcase 2022. At the Student Showcase, it won third place.

telephone (2023)
This film is a circledpictures production, a production company formed with my collaborator Rebekah Oden. It follows the progression of one story across five different forms of art, beginning with a story and ending with a piece of devised theater. We recruited the help of artists from many disiplines to create this experiment of artistic translation.

the fan on the wall (2022)
This is another circledpictures production that I co-directed with Rebekah Oden. I wrote the script, did the camerawork, and edited the film. The short assumes the perspective of a fan, repeatedly abandoned by renters, left to observe the many inhabitants that come and go.
loose ends (2022)
This film is a drama-comedy that follows a variety of characters and relationships, who are connected by chance encounters over the course of one day. For this film, Rebekah and I directed and wrote the script together, casting actors that used improvisation to help make the script their own.
